orange night
My baby nephew curious about plants gets a little hands-on-experience with it.  We were just enjoying the park and I thought it was more meaningful to just to capture this image. I had my ISO at 200, A at 1/500, and F-Stop at 5.6.

Life is good when you are able to slow down and appreciate the view.  :)

It was such a delight to shoot my nephew and cousin.  You truly can see the love between mother and son.  He is such a happy baby as you can see in the pics.  :) such a natural.

Just having fun shooting jewelry! I love how earth tones bring out the natural beauty of the necklaces. My first pic (solo red necklace) was set on manual with my f-stop at 4, 1/60 s, and ISO at 200.  My second pic (on the right) my camera was set on manual at my f-stop at 5.6, 1/80s, and ISO at 200.  These necklaces were hand made by my cousin, Marida.  Check out her website at maridajewelry.com, she has more creative jewelry to share with you.

Over the weekend, I went to a friend’s wedding out in Diamond Bar.  It was indeed a beautiful wedding.  I decided to bring my nikon to practice my shooting.  Knowing that I was not the primary photography, I made sure I stayed out of their ways.  I still had fun shooting though and these are just a couple of pics I would like to share.  I like the first pic just simply because it looks like I’m allowing my viewers in for a sneak peek of their wedding.  I had my settings on manual at f3.5, 1/50, and my ISO at 1000.  The second pic was at the same setting as well.  Such a beautiful bride :) Congrats to Jason and Julie!

Over the weekend, my husband and I had the opportunity to do a photo shoot for a jewelry line, Marida Jewelry (check it out! she makes and sells her own jewelry! www.maridajewelry.com).  We drove past a building and the dark solid wood wall caught our eyes.  We had our model play with an old school camera, so it can draw attention to the pretty bracelets, necklaces, and a pair of earrings she wore.  I had my settings on  1/250s,  my aperture at f 8, and my ISO at 400.  It was one of those partly cloudy days, but a wonderful day to shoot.

The Stella Glow

I like this picture of our model, Stella.  She has a natural glow, which brings out her beauty.  This picture was take indoor with a lot of window light from behind.  I had my ISO at 200, f 5.6, and my shutter at 1/200.  Isn’t she darling?

I love the angle of this photograph along with the sun peeking through the building.  It creates such a great effect on the building (shot from downtown L.A.).

Enjoying the beautiful sunset! The natural colors of nature speaks for itself.  Photo taken around 7:40 evening.
